Publication of the calendar of the World Series of Poker Europe 2022

The World Series of Poker has published the official calendar for the 2022 edition WSOP Europe, which will take place from October 26 to November 15 this year at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.

The 2022 WSOPE The festival features 15 gold bracelet events, with €12 million in guaranteed prizes to be awarded throughout the series.

“We are very happy to host the biggest and most prestigious tournament series with the biggest guarantees in Europe without any limitations or struggles of the last two years. Finally, the travel restrictions for players coming from the United States Unis have also been lifted,” said King’s owner Leon Tsoukernik. “We are all set to provide first-class service and hospitality to all King’s poker players.”

This year’s schedule has something for every player, with buy-ins ranging from as low as
€350 for the €500,000 guaranteed kick-off, up to €50,000 for the €2 million guaranteed no-limit high roller hold’em.

The flagship tournament of the whole series will of course be the 2022 WSOP Europe €10,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Main Event. This year’s tournament features a guaranteed prize pool of €5 million.

2021 WSOP Europe Main Event Champion Josef Gulas Jr.In 2021, the WSOPE the main event drew a record field of 688 entries, blowing the €5 million guarantee to create a prize pool of €6,536,000, or $7,365,418 when rendered in USD at the exchange rate at the time. Josef Gulas Jr. emerged victorious in the end, beating Johan Guilbert head-to-head to claim the championship bracelet and the top prize of $1,429,917. USD.

In addition to WSOPE the calendar being revealed, the WSOP also released more information about the currently scheduled 10 WSOP International Tour proposed stopovers for the remainder of this year.

“The World Series of Poker is ready to go international once again,” said Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the WSOP, Ty Stewart. “Poker is bigger than ever and there was a series of international champions in our Main Events recently. We are excited to bring the unique poker experiences of the WSOPC and WSOP Europe back to transcontinental players.
