Boys & Girls Clubs Host Poker Tournament Thursday in Fort Myers | News, Sports, Jobs


The Lee County Boys and Girls Clubs are hosting their 10th Annual No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament on Thursday, July 28 to raise funds for programs and scholarships for student members.

The poker tournament will take place at Crown Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower, 13051 Bell Tower Drive. The cocktails will start at 5 p.m. and the poker tournament will start at 6 p.m. Food and beverages will be provided for all participants.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three players: $2,000 for first, $750 for second and $250 for third.

The cost to register in advance is a donation of $125 or $150 on the day of the poker tournament.

“This is an event for people to relax, have fun, and donate to Lee County Boys and Girls Clubs,” said Justin Stockman, event chair. “This event is not for serious poker players. It’s for everyone, at any skill level, to have fun playing cards.

In-kind sponsors include Crowne Plaza Fort Myers, Fine Folk Pizza and Coke Florida.
